A steam bath is a treatment in a hot indoor space with steam that encourages sweating and releases body toxins. It is most effective at a temperature between 43°C and 46°C while the air humidity is 100%.
Proper enjoyment lasts between 10 and 20 minutes, followed by a shower with lukewarm to cold water. Moist steam stimulates blood flow and cleanses the skin by opening the pores, removes dead layers and leaves the skin soft, clean and silky soft.
The steam bath is recommended for people who suffer from:
- sleep disorders,
- excessive fatigue,
- poor skin circulation,
- tense and weakened muscles,
- sensitivity to sudden temperature changes.
The Turkish version of a steam bath in which the air humidity is high and the temperature is between 45°C and 50°C. Inside the cabin there are heated marble benches for sitting and lying down, and in the middle is a sink with cold water for cooling down.
One stays in the hammam for 20-40 minutes in order to gradually bring the body into a state of complete relaxation. Hammam is recommended for anyone who suffers from tension in the mind and body, people with poor circulation and those who have pain in muscles and joints.
